Liam Payne, who used to be in the famous boy band One Direction, died horrifically when he fell from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires. The singer’s death was confirmed by Argentine officials, who also talked about the terrible event.
“Liam James Payne, a composer and former One Direction member, lost his life today following a fall from the third floor of a hotel in Palermo,” the cops said. Even though emergency services arrived quickly, Alberto Crescenti, the head of Buenos Aires’ SAME emergency services, said Payne’s injuries were too bad for him to live.
The 911 call came in at 5:04 p.m. local time, and doctors were at the Casa Sur hotel in Palermo in just a few minutes. Sadly, they could only confirm Payne’s death when they got there.
Following his appearance on “The X Factor,” Payne first became famous when he joined the boy band One Direction in 2010. The group was famous all over the world before they took a break in 2016 and each member started their own solo jobs.
Sources tell Billboard that Payne was in Buenos Aires earlier this month to see a show by Niall Horan, a former bandmate. People who loved his songs and those who work in the music business are sad about his sudden death.
