Due to rising theft and organized retail crime, the big store chain Target is closing nine stores in four states. Even though protection has been improved, the problems still exist.
The shops that are affected are
Harlem in New York City (517 E 117th St.)
University Way (4535 University Way NE) and Ballard
The following stations are in San Francisco and Oakland: SF Folsom (1690 Folsom St.), Oakland Broadway (2650 Broadway), and Pittsburg
The Galleria is at 939 SW Morrison St., Powell is at 3031 SE Powell Blvd., and Hollywood is at 4030 NE Halsey St.
Because of these closures,
New York City, where they still have 96 shops and more than 20,000 employees.
Seattle, where 22 shops and almost 4,000 employees are still open.
With 32 shops left and over 6,400 employees, San Francisco/Oakland
Portland, where 15 shops and more than 2,500 employees are still open.
In these areas, more than 150 Target shops are still open.
