After his son Hudson passed away tragically, Michael Madsen has spoken out. Authorities believe the 26-year-old, who was found with a gunshot wound to the head, committed suicide.

The 64-year-old Reservoir Dogs star tweeted his profound shock and grief to The Los Angeles Times. “I’m utterly stunned,” Madsen said. A few days prior, I had spoken with my kid, who informed me that he was content. “I love you, dad,” was his final text message to me.

Madsen went on, explaining how confused and hurt he was. “I saw no indications of depression. This is very awful and tragic. All I’m trying to do is make sense of everything that happened.

Overwhelmed with sorrow, Hudson’s family sent a statement to Metro. They declared, “We are heartbroken over Hudson’s passing.” Everyone who knew and loved him will treasure his memories and the light he brought into our lives. We kindly request your privacy and consideration while we get through this trying period.

According to a spokesman for the Honolulu Medical Examiner, Hudson passed away from a gunshot wound to the head in what is thought to be a suicide. The public has not been informed of the tragedy’s precise timing.

Since the couple relocated to Oahu in 2019, Hudson and his wife, Carlie, have become residents of Hawaii.

Of the three children Michael Madsen and his wife DeAnna Madsen had, he was the oldest. Calvin and Luke, the couple’s two younger kids, are also parents. Christian and Max, the two elder boys of Michael Madsen’s first marriage to Jeannine Bisignano, are his children.
