Bob, who worked at a funeral home, came home one night with a black eye. His wife was immediately concerned.
“What happened to you?” she asked.
Bob groaned. “You won’t believe this. I got called to a hotel where a guest had died. The staff told me they couldn’t get him into a body bag because… well, he had an unusual situation going on.”
His wife frowned. “What kind of situation?”
Bob hesitated. “Let’s just say he was… standing at attention, if you know what I mean. So, I figured I’d just push it down to make him fit. I grabbed it with both hands and gave it a good bend.”
His wife gasped. “That’s horrifying! But how did you end up with a black eye?”
Bob sighed. “Because the actual dead guy was in the room next door. I was in the wrong one.”
