Keanu Reeves, the beloved actor known for his action-packed roles, recently shared a surprising story about a injury he sustained while filming his new comedy project, Good Fortune.
On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Keanu revealed that he broke his kneecap in a freak accident that had nothing to do with his signature high-octane stunts.
The 59-year-old actor explained that the injury occurred while he was walking into a dressing room, where his foot got stuck in a pocket, causing his knee to “spike” into the ground. He humorously described the sound of his kneecap cracking like a potato chip.
Keanu was filming Good Fortune with Aziz Ansari and Seth Rogen when the incident happened. Despite the initial shock and swelling, Keanu has since recovered well. He even joked about the experience, saying “Comedy is hard, man.”
Good Fortune marks Aziz Ansari’s directorial debut and features an impressive cast, including Sandra Oh and Keke Palmer.
Keanu’s injury may have been a setback, but it’s great to hear that he’s back on his feet and ready for his next project.
