Sarah lost her excitement at a charity drive when she saw a jumper that looked familiar. It was one that she had made by hand for her niece Violet. Violet had thrown away the thoughtful gift, as the stitched letters confirmed her worst fears.
Sarah’s pain grew, but her friend Emily’s kindness and the drive’s goal made her feel better. Sarah couldn’t take her mind off the jumper as they sorted donations.
Sarah called Violet at home to ask about the jumper. Sarah was even more worried because Violet’s answers were quick and not very clear.
The next day, Sarah took a small gift to Violet’s dad, Robert. Robert’s surprise and Violet’s lack of interest turned into an angry argument.
Robert was shocked by Violet’s lack of interest, and he scolded her for not understanding Sarah’s love. Sarah left behind a new jumper and a note from the heart.
Violet realised she was wrong after Sarah’s kind act. She went back to Sarah’s and apologised through tears.
Sarah was happy to see Violet and gave her back the original jumper. Violet loved it and understood how much Sarah loved her.
Their intense meeting made their bond stronger and taught Violet to be thankful for every gift and the thought and love that went into it.
