Unconditional love in a family wins over money.

Zelda and Camden had been wanting to adopt a child for a while. When they met Nicholas, a five-year-old boy, it looked like they might be able to make their dream come true. But things took a surprising turn when the Featheringhams, a wealthy couple, said they wanted to adopt Nicholas too.

It was clear that Zelda was afraid she would lose Nicholas to the rich couple. They were good, but she couldn’t help but wonder if they could give Nicholas the life he loved. The Featheringham family seemed to have everyone they wanted: money, power, and the chance to give Nicholas everything he wanted.

Even though they weren’t sure, Zelda and Camden chose to focus on showing Nicholas what family really meant. In his company, they did easy things all week, like picnicking, playing games, and laughing. It wasn’t fancy, but it was true.

The end of the week came, and Zelda and Camden were eagerly waiting for Nicholas to make his choice. The Featheringhams did everything they could to make Nicholas’s life full of wealth and comfort. But in the end, Nicholas fell in love with Zelda and Camden because they loved and accepted each other no matter what.

Zelda and Camden were very happy. Not because they were rich or important, but because Nicholas loved them and wanted them to be a family. While giving Nicholas a tight hug, they knew they had been given a priceless gift: the chance to love and be loved no matter what.
