It broke my heart to feel betrayed and hurt, but my dad’s steadfast support made me strong. He had to stop my wedding to save me from a lie-filled life, and I learned how much he cared over time. I worked on rebuilding my life over the next few weeks, and my dad’s love and determination helped me get better.
I learned from the experience that I deserve real love, and I will always be thankful to my dad for keeping me safe. I will always be grateful for his love and support, and I will never forget what he gave up to save me from a life of lies.
