CBS is taking a big risk by starting a new conservative talk show called The Morning Right. Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Megyn Kelly will host it. The show, which is set to start in early 2025, wants to give conservative views a place to be heard and compete with The View on ABC.

There will be a unique mix of political comments, cultural analysis, and in-depth interviews on The Morning Right. Both Hasselbeck and Kelly are known for having conservative views, but they are dedicated to making a show that promotes civil discourse and deep conversations.

Hasselbeck is known for having strong conservative beliefs and being vocal. She used to co-host The View and Fox & Friends. Kelly is a sharp writer who can talk about tough topics. She used to be an anchor on Fox News and a host on NBC.

Regular parts of the show will include “The Pulse of America,” which will talk about issues that affect regular Americans, and “Heritage Spotlight,” which will talk about well-known conservative women in business, politics, and culture. Thought leaders, cultural icons, and political people will also be interviewed on the show.

CBS executives see The Morning Right as a way to reach a market that isn’t being served well and give conservative views a place to be heard. The premiere of the show is interesting because it happened at the same time that The View is losing viewers.

Some critics are worried about how the show might add to the polarisation in the media, but others think it’s a welcome addition to daytime TV. Media expert Jonathan Rivers says that it will be hard for The Morning Right to start important conversations without alienating people who don’t agree with its views.

As the opening date gets closer, people are getting more and more excited. There is a good chance that The Morning Right will gain a lot of fans in the competitive world of daytime TV. CBS is raising the bar for what daytime talk shows can do with its focus on smart, polite conversations and its star-studded hosting team.
