In the middle of the busy city, Magic Cakes & Bakes was full of people. The bakery’s fierce owner, Mrs. Holmes, was determined to make Penny’s eighth birthday cake a life-size princess. Penny was having a hard time accepting her mother’s death, but the cake was more than just a treat. It was a sign of hope for her.
A young street artist named Eden walked into the bakery while the staff worked hard to meet the deadline. Eden tried to steal food because she was hungry and desperate, but Mrs. Holmes caught her. Unfortunately, just as things were about to get worse, something terrible happened and the carefully made princess cake was ruined.
With only an hour to spare, Mrs. Holmes came up with a crazy plan. Eden would be covered in layers of sugarpaste and frosting and turned into a life-size ‘living cake’. Eden didn’t want to agree, but she did, and soon she was the centre of Penny’s birthday party.
Through the party, Penny was charmed by the magical “cake,” and for a moment, she forgot about her sadness. However, a bad plan was being made behind the scenes of the party. Olivia, Richard’s fiancée, and Stella, her mother, were determined to make Penny look like she stole a diamond necklace so that they could get rid of her and keep control of Richard.
When Eden heard all the charges, she felt bad about what she did. She popped out of her sweet mask, showing Olivia and Stella’s lie. Even though she was thought to be a thief at first, Eden told Richard to trust his daughter. Even though the party finished in chaos, Eden’s brave action had given Richard some doubts.
A few days later, Richard heard Olivia tell him about her plan, which completely shook him. He called off their engagement because he was angry and promised to protect Penny. He was determined to find Eden and found her through Johnny, her homeless friend. He then found her drawing under a bridge. Richard told her he was sorry for questioning her and asked her to join their lives.
Eden, Richard, and Penny formed a bond over time based on faith, love, and respect for each other. As if she were a kid, Penny asked Eden to be her mommy while they were walking on the beach. Joyful tears sealed the deal, and an emotional wedding party followed. Mrs. Holmes even brought a beautiful princess cake to celebrate, which was a sign of fresh starts for the whole family.
