While I was going about my day, shopping in a busy mall, I had an unexpected meeting that caught me off guard. A cute little girl I had never met before came up to me and smiled.
“Hey, it’s been a long time since I saw you! She asked me out loud, “How are you?” as if we were old friends. I didn’t even have time to answer before she gave me a tight hug.
What happened next, though, shocked me. Her tone changed from friendly to serious as she whispered in my ear. There are two guys following you, I saw that. She warned me to be careful, then quickly let go of my hug and walked away.
Her words shocked me, but I was also thankful for how kind she was. Little things like that made me remember that there are still good people in the world who look out for each other.
