After having Sophie, Lily, and Grace, Emily’s happiness didn’t last long. Her husband Jack left them because he thought that the babies would bring bad luck, which was what a fortune reader said would happen.
The room in the hospital where Emily gave birth was happy and excited. But Jack’s mood changed when he saw the babies. He turned pale and cold, and he wouldn’t look at Emily.
