Amber’s search for love had been a long and hard one, full of broken hearts and dropped dreams. But fate had other ideas. Steve is a close family friend 10 years older than her. They met at a BBQ her dad put on.

Even though they were different ages, Amber and Steve hit it off right away. She felt a warmth and kindness she had never felt before. When they started dating, Steve, Amber’s dad was thrilled to see his daughter with such a nice guy.

After dating for six months, Steve asked her to marry him, and it was like a scene from a fairy tale. Amber felt like the happiest person in the world when she was with her family and friends.

But on the night of their wedding, Amber saw something touching that would forever change the way she saw things. She went into their bedroom and heard Steve softly talking to someone. There was no phone in the room.

She had to find out who Steve was talking to because she was interested. He told them, with tears in his eyes, that he was talking to his late daughter Stacey, who had died in a car accident many years before.

Steve’s honest feelings and pain touched Amber’s heart. She knew it was hard to imagine losing a child, and she wanted to help him get through it.

Amber suggested that they go to therapy together to help him deal with his sadness instead of pushing him away. Steve agreed, and Amber’s love for him grew stronger at that moment.

Their love story was one of coming to terms with things, getting along, and getting better. Amber learned that liking someone means accepting their flaws and strengths, and Steve found someone who could help him deal with his worst memories.

While they were on their journey together, Amber learned that love can come to us in the strangest places and heal even the deepest hurts.

That they shared their story shows that love has no limits and that with understanding and help, we can get through anything.
