In an effort to be more open, Speaker Mike Johnson has put all of the security tapes from January 6th online through the CHA Subcommittee Reading Room.
Before this, efforts had stopped when Kevin McCarthy was Speaker of the House. The public had been asking for more video of the Capitol breach, and some clips already showed protesters walking through Congress without any problems.
The release is likely to start new, heated political debates about what happened on January 6th and what happened afterward.
You can go to the CHA Subcommittee Reading Room online to get a better look at the video. If you want to find out more about the ongoing discussion, you could use a search engine.
