If there’s one thing cats are good at, it’s making their presence known—whether you want them to or not. This man learned that the hard way.
He despised his wife’s cat. So, he decided to “accidentally” lose it. First, he drove twenty blocks away and left it at a park. But when he got home, the cat was already there, looking unimpressed.
The next day, he doubled the distance. Forty blocks. Surely, that would work. Nope. The cat was back before he was.
Determined, he drove in circles, crossed a bridge, took random turns—anything to confuse the cat. But when he finally stopped, he realized he was the one who was lost.
Defeated, he called his wife. “Jen, is the cat there?” “Yes,” she said. He sighed. “Put him on the phone. I think he’s the only one who knows the way home.”
Somehow, the cat had the last laugh.
