The mother of three, Kelli Tarin, couldn’t figure out what the two strange piles were in her daughter’s room. Kelli was eager to learn what the piles were and where they came from because they looked like coffee grounds. She posted a picture of the strange piles on Facebook and asked people there if they knew what they were.
People quickly came up with all kinds of ideas after the post went viral. Some people thought it might be moving ants, while others thought it might be rat poop. Kelli got a lot of ideas, but she still couldn’t figure it out. She wasn’t even letting her daughter sleep in her room because she was afraid for her safety.
Kelli called two bug control companies, but neither of them could figure out what was wrong. It looked like a puzzle that could never be solved. Then someone brought up a possible link to a toy lavender bear. When Kelli looked at the bear, she was shocked to see that it was full of tiny beads.
The “piles” were just beads that fell out of the toy. Kelli was happy and relieved at the same time. She laughed for 30 minutes about the whole thing. It was a funny finish to a problem that had been hard to figure out. It was good to remember that Kelli’s post that sometimes the trickiest problems have the easiest answers.
