“She Thought She Could Get Away With It – Until I Stepped In”

Airplane etiquette isn’t hard—keep your feet to yourself. But when a stranger ignored that rule and kicked my husband’s seat for hours, I decided to teach her a lesson she wouldn’t forget.

Alton and I were drained after a week with family, counting down the minutes until we could collapse into our own bed. But the woman behind us had no intention of letting us rest. She stretched her bare feet onto Alton’s seat, kicking it absentmindedly while gossiping with her friend.

Alton asked her to stop—politely at first, then more firmly. The flight attendant even intervened. But the second we were left alone, her feet were back.

That’s when I snapped.

When drinks were served, I got a bottle of water—and a plan. I poured some onto her bag under the seat, then “accidentally” spilled the rest onto her feet when she kicked again.

Her shriek was worth it. “You did that on purpose!”

I feigned innocence. “Turbulence, right?”

For the rest of the flight, she kept her feet down, muttering under her breath. Alton just smirked.

As we disembarked, she shoved past us, her bag still wet. I just smiled.

Sometimes, a little petty justice is all it takes.

How would you have reacted?
