It’s a sweet Halloween miracle

Rosemary, a mother who had lost her son Dave on Halloween three years before, found it hard to deal with her grief. To get over her pain, her psychologist told her to enjoy the break. Rosemary was hesitant, but she decorated her house because she wanted to feel better.

She couldn’t stop thinking about Dave as she lit the pumpkin. Lucas, her husband, was thrilled to come home from a business trip to find their house decorated. This showed how far Rosemary had come.

That evening, a group of kids dressed as Dave for Halloween came to their door asking for candy. Rosemary had made these costumes herself. She gave them candy and ran to Dave’s room, but all of his things were gone. She was shocked and crying.

Lucas told Rosemary that he had given Dave’s things to a nearby shelter when she confronted him. The kids from the shelter were dressed up as Dave. Rosemary had an idea after Lucas’s action: she should adopt Tom, one of the boys who looked a lot like Dave.

After six months, Tom joined their family, which made them happy and helped them heal. Lucas, Tom, Rosemary, and other kids in the shelter helped other kids find loving homes.

On Halloween the next year, Tom was proud to show Rosemary his jack-o’-lantern, which looked a lot like Dave’s. Rosemary became very emotional when she realised Tom was a gift from her late son, a sign of love and hope.

This touching story shows how love, healing, and the Halloween spirit can turn sadness into joy and a fresh start.
