Charlotte Holmes’s regular trip to the doctor turned into something out of the ordinary. In 2019, her doctor told her the terrible news that her blood pressure had gone through the roof, making her more likely to have a heart attack or stroke.
Charlotte’s health got worse after she was taken to the hospital. Her heart stopped, and for eleven minutes she was thought to be dead. However, she says that during that time, she saw the future.
“I felt like I was above my body,” Charlotte says. “I saw Danny, my husband, and the nurses.” After that, angels led her to heaven. “There is no fear, only pure joy.”
Charlotte met up with family members who had died in heaven and saw her miscarried child as a baby. “They continue to grow in heaven, but there’s no time, only eternity.”
Her journey did, however, turn dark. When God took her to the edge of hell, she saw unimaginable pain. “The smell of rotten flesh and screams still haunt me.”
Charlotte thinks she saw this to warn other people: “This is where they will live if they don’t change their ways.” When she got back to her body, she was in pain and sad.
Charlotte told her story until her death on November 28, 2023, after she had gotten better. Daniel, her husband, says, “Her life changed after God showed her a glimpse of heaven.” “Her journey is over.”
We can learn a deep lesson from Charlotte’s story: “Heaven is real.” Her story makes us think about our choices and makes us wonder about the future.
