Aaron and Claire’s 25th wedding anniversary was coming up, and Claire thought she knew what to expect. But their romantic dinner took a turn they didn’t expect.
At the diner where they went on their first date 25 years ago, Aaron looked over Claire’s shoulder all the time, as if he were busy. She followed his look and saw that he was interested in their beautiful waitress, Kelsey.
Claire left to gather her thoughts because she felt forgotten and unappreciated. When she got back, she saw Kelsey give Aaron a note. It broke her heart.

The next day, Claire went to the diner and looked for Kelsey to thank her. “Your kindness saved my marriage,” Claire thanked him and gave him a gift card.
Kelsey smiled, and her eyes were bright. She said, “I’m happy.”
Claire felt refreshed when she left the restaurant and was ready to spend another 25 years with Aaron. It can take an unexpected reminder to bring love and respect back into a relationship.
