Affleck came with his kids from his first marriage to Jennifer Garner, Seraphina and Samuel. Lopez brought Emme and Max with her from her marriage to Marc Anthony. Even though Lopez wore her engagement and wedding rings, which are a sign of unity, things were very tense.
The afternoon became more dramatic when Ben and Jennifer’s friendly act fell apart, showing a heated argument. The couple was making a lot of hand gestures as paparazzi took pictures of the heated moment. The argument continued in the car, where Lopez was clearly crying and Affleck’s face was cold.

The split of assets is harder when there isn’t a prenuptial agreement. California law says that they must split equally all of their earnings and property that they got while they were married. Lopez will give up half of her earnings, and Affleck will give up half of his shares in the production business.
