Stella, who is 85 years old, got on a plane to New York because she couldn’t wait to spend her son’s birthday with him.

But Franklin Delaney, another customer, wouldn’t let her sit next to him in business class, which made her journey tricky. Even though Stella was made fun of, Franklin finally changed his mind after hearing her story and being kind to her. He apologized for his behavior.

Stella told them about her life, including how her father promised to come back from World War II, how her mother’s heartbreak, and how hard it was for her to be a single parent.

She said that she had given up her son for adoption and was now trying to get back in touch with him. It just so happened that her son was the flight attendant.

Franklin was moved to tears by Stella’s story. At the same time, her story moved the flight attendants and customers.

As the plane touched down, John, the pilot, told everyone that his mother was on board and greeted her. He went against the rules by getting out of the pilot to hug Stella and thank her for the selfless choice she made years ago.

The workers and passengers cheered and applauded when they saw each other again. John had finally found the words to say how thankful he was and how forgiving he was.

Stella had also found peace and love. Franklin had learned an important lesson about being kind and understanding after he had first judged Stella based on how she looked. A chance meeting brought three strangers together, making for an unforgettable and moving experience.
