When Karma Caught Up with an Entitled Passenger on a Flight to Remember

As someone who flies a lot, I’ve seen my fair share of annoying customers. But one flight from New York to Los Angeles stands out in my mind. It was that flight that taught me about fate.

I was determined to make a tight link in San Diego. However, a traveler who seemed spoilt almost ruined my plans. He ate my food, didn’t feel bad about it, and then fell asleep, not noticing anything else going on around him.

I couldn’t believe he was so brazen, and I couldn’t help but wonder what kind of person would do something like that. There was a treat in store for him, though, which I didn’t know about.

They told us about a last-minute change in gates, so I knew I had to move quickly. I tried to wake him up, but he was already sound asleep.

I left him behind, and as I ran to the next gate, I couldn’t help but feel good about it.

I later learnt that he missed his connection and was stuck in Los Angeles, where he got into a fight with a gate worker. I couldn’t help but smile because it was a very good sign.

For me, the event taught me that the world can balance things out sometimes. In this case, Mr. Important found out the hard way that what he does has results.

My meeting was on time, and I had a story to tell. I also had more faith in the power of karma.
