Jennifer Lopez has taken the last step to end her marriage to Ben Affleck after two years. She will file for divorce on August 20, 2024, which is also their second wedding anniversary. The couple had broken up months before April 26, 2024, which was their official date of split.
Lopez’s friends and family say that she calmly waited for Affleck to work on their marriage, but she felt “heartbroken” and chose to move on. Lopez’s twin 16-year-old children, Emme and Max, are her first concern right now as she works to rebuild her life.
Lopez and Affleck, who has three kids from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, spent a lot of time apart over the summer. They broke up two years after getting married in Las Vegas and then having a service in Georgia.
