Golf is a game that tests your patience, but sometimes it throws you a curveball that’s too funny to ignore. One man’s golfing experience is a perfect example of how the unexpected can turn a simple round into a story you’ll never forget.
The man was on the fairway, ready to take his shot after his ball got a lucky bounce. But just as he was about to swing, a squirrel ran onto the course, grabbed his ball, and climbed up a tree. A priest who was nearby asked, “Is that when you said the ‘F-word’?” The man replied, “No, because then an eagle swooped in, caught the squirrel, and flew away.”
The priest, now even more curious, asked again, “So, is that when you lost your temper?” The man calmly explained, “No, because the eagle flew over the green, and the squirrel dropped my ball. It landed just five inches from the hole.”
At this point, the priest couldn’t hold back any longer and shouted, “Don’t tell me you missed the f***ing putt!”
