In a post on Truth Social, Trump questioned the preventability of the crash, noting that the PSA Airlines jet was on a routine approach when the collision occurred. He criticized the control tower for not providing clearer instructions and expressed his sorrow over the incident.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that President Trump had been briefed on the situation and expressed the administration’s condolences. She urged the public to follow guidance from law enforcement as rescue operations continued.
