Jackie and Frank Sr. Stallone’s parents split up in 1957, leaving him and his younger brother Frank Jr. to deal with a tough home situation. His mother got married again and had a daughter named Toni Ann. His father also got married more than once and had two more children.

In his early years, the star had a lot of trouble and felt alone. He felt like he didn’t belong in a boarding house in Jackson Heights for four and a half years. Stallone became a hermit and had trouble with his relationships after his parents ignored him.
Even though he had problems, Stallone kept going. As a child, he was kicked out of 13 schools and sent to military schools for teens who are having problems. He didn’t give up, though, and his persistence paid off in the end.
