Eight times faster than usual, her condition makes the body age at an alarming rate. It only affects one in four million people. But Beandri wouldn’t let her disease define her. She lived her life to the fullest by going to school and following her dreams.
Beandri was able to connect with thousands of people online, especially on TikTok, where she shared her stories and brought attention to progeria. For her, “Be yourself.” Take care of yourself. People who followed her were moved by her bravery and positivity and said, “Believe in yourself.”
Beandri’s life was tragically cut short. She left behind a heartbroken family and a community of fans who admired how strong and tough she was. Beandri was described by her mother, Bea, as having a “vibrant personality” and being a “symbol of awareness” for older people and people with special needs.
