The rodeo world is saddened by the death of Levi Wright, Spencer Wright’s three-year-old son. Levi’s life was sadly cut short in a terrible accident in the river.
Toy tractor driver Levi fell into the river on May 21 and almost drowned. He bravely fought a serious brain injury while being rushed to the hospital.
Levi was first thought to be brain dead, but he started to show signs of growth, which gave his family and friends hope. Levi woke up! That’s what his mother, Kallie Wright, wrote on Facebook. “My child is really tough!”
But more tests showed that the outlook was not good. Levi’s family had to make the terrible choice of turning off his life support.
Levi brought people together and was a light in a dark world during his short life. His impact will live on in the many people whose lives he touched.
Many people have been moved by the family’s strength and faith in the face of unimaginable loss. They are surrounded by love, support, and fond memories of Levi’s short but beautiful life as they deal with this terrible loss.
Levi Wright, please rest in peace. We will always remember your light.
