Fans are disappointed and angry about the much-anticipated new season of “Yellowstone” because popular star Kevin Costner has left the show. A touching video on Instagram from the man who played John Dutton III told everyone that he was leaving the show.

When the Western drama’s fifth season teaser came out on June 20, it got people excited, but soon that energy was overshadowed by fans’ complaints. People were upset and posted about it on social media, saying that without Costner, the show is less interesting.

“I’m feeling really sad. “No Kevin, no watch,” one fan wrote. Others agreed, saying they thought Costner’s loss would change the show’s dynamics in a way that couldn’t be fixed.

However, not all fans feel the same way. Some people are looking forward to seeing where Beth and Rip’s story goes next because they think the show can do well without Costner.

In an interview with USA Today, Costner talked about why he was leaving, saying that he had set too high of goals for himself and wanted to move on. His leaving causes a big change in the story of the show.

Fans are still split on “Yellowstone” as it goes through this change. Some people are sad that a popular character has died, while others are excited to see how the show changes in the future.

Taylor Sheridan, who created the show, has to get people interested again and show that “Yellowstone” can go on without its famous lead. One thing is for sure: the Dutton family’s story will never be the same again after this drama.
