Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene went on Steve Bannon’s show to talk about Trump’s recent victory. Greene said there was an electric vibe at Mar-a-Lago and praised Americans for rejecting what she calls a “communist regime” that limits freedoms.
She talked about how she helped get a clear win in Georgia through community efforts. Bannon asked Greene about rumours that she would be in charge of the Department of Homeland Security. Greene promised to break down the “deep state” and bring back American principles.
Greene also promised to try to get pardons for people who took part in January 6 and hold responsible people she thinks abused their power in Congress. She named Liz Cheney, Bennie Thompson, and Nancy Pelosi as examples. She didn’t like what they did on the January 6 Committee and said they were biassed against Trump fans.
Greene’s strong stance struck a chord with Bannon and his audience, making her an even stronger Trump supporter.
