Kaya Walker, the president of the NYU College Republicans, has resigned after making controversial remarks about Barron Trump in an interview with Vanity Fair. Walker described Barron, who is now a student at NYU, as “sort of like an oddity on campus” and highlighted his limited campus presence due to Secret Service protection.

The comments sparked backlash, leading the College Republicans of America (CRA) to issue a statement condemning the remarks as inconsistent with their values. Walker resigned shortly after the controversy.

The CRA reaffirmed their support for Donald Trump and invited Barron to join their organization, emphasizing his potential to contribute to the conservative movement.
